Our Oxfam teams continues to expand our water distribution, which will bring water to 80,000 people by the end of the week. In addition, we will begin digging latrines to provide safe sanitation. The team is also working in several communities to setup "Cash for work" programs to help get the economy moving again.

In last nights podcast, I talked about Haitians fears of returning to their homes, because of the possibility of another earthquake. That is just what happened this early this morning as a 6.1 quake woke me and the rest of the Oxfam team, with the exception of Caroline Gluck (Follow @carooxfam) who was doing a live interview with Canadian TV. Most were sleeping inside, but some worried about an aftershock, slept outside but moved to a small patio due to rain. We ran outside and could hear neighbors screaming. We went to check and everyone was okay.

The lack of fuel continues to make water distribution difficult for the Oxfam team here. However, staff worked hard to find new water distribution locations and solve the fuel issue. I know there are reports of some riots and violence in the news, but so far I have not seen anything like that. I'm back at Oxfam House now, here in Port-au-Prince and the team will be back at it tomorrow.
Sorry, about the way it just cuts out at the end. My phone stopped working. As I mention in the podcast, mobile service is still vulnerable.
